RUNWAY will take us forward for our 20th anniversary in 2026!
House of Suarez is celebrating its 20th anniversary by transforming its iconic Vogue Ball into RUNWAY, a bold new Platinum Edition of the event produced by the House that built the Northern UK vogue scene.
Taking place at Invisible Wind Factory on Saturday 17 October 2026, RUNWAY carries the theme Legacy, a fitting tribute to two decades of ballroom, dance and queer artistry in the North West.
Every category at RUNWAY will be themed around a former House of Suarez Vogue Ball theme, turning the night into a living archive of the event's history. Audiences can expect nods to fan favourites including Sugar Ball, Night at the Poseum, Death by Glitter and Twisted Fairytales, with each category honouring a moment from the ball's past while handing the runway to a new generation of performers.
The anniversary also reunites House of Suarez with Homotopia, the UK's longest running LGBTQIA+ arts and culture festival, where the story began. The very first ball, Liverpool is Burning: The Grand Vogue Ball, was staged with Homotopia at the Adelphi Hotel in 2006, and the festival returns 20 years on as a supporter of RUNWAY.
